Our practice offers a choice of procedures for enhancement of your natural vision. We endorse and use the NuVision facility and surgeons for most procedures. Everyone's vision care needs are unique. Technology is constantly changing. Only after a comprehensive eye examination can your doctor determine if you would benefit from a refractive procedure.
If you are a candidate, we will match your needs with the appropriate procedure, the appropriate surgeon and the appropriate facility. To learn more, see the following pages:
At NuVision, you have choices that go beyond traditional LASIK. Depending on your specific vision needs, we will provide a thorough diagnostic evaluation and explain what choice will result in your best vision.
STEP 1 - Complete our LASIK Self Evaluation TEST or call our office at 201-615-9385 to arrange your FREE LASIK consultation. STEP 2 - Evaluate your candidacy in a pre-operative evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate. STEP 3 - Review the costs of advanced vision correction with our counselor and schedule your procedure.
If you are ready to take the next steps to reduce or eliminate your dependency on glasses and contacts, we will provide you with a thorough diagnostic evaluation and explain which choices may result in your best vision.
Studies have shown that over the long term, contact lens wear is more expensive than having advanced LASIK vision correction. Many of our patients use their flex plan dollars for extra savings, and we have developed an extensive LASIK financing program with CareCredit® to provide you with the most affordable solutions for vision correction available today. We also accept major credit cards, debit cards and personal checks as payment methods for your advanced vision correction procedure.
Our prices are all-inclusive, one price covers the full advanced vision correction evaluation, the procedure with Dr. Greg Parkhurst, and after-care. Not all eyes are the same; your solution will be customized to the individual vision needs you have.
Gregory D. Parkhurst, M.D., FACS is a board certified and fellowship trained cornea specialist who is recognized nationally as an expert and leader in LASIK and Advanced Vision Correction Surgery. Dr. Parkhurst trained with the first surgeon to perform LASIK in the United States; has had advanced laser vision correction on his own eyes; and has personally performed the most implantable contact lens procedures in all of Texas.
